Serves 4
- 1 bag of basic dried spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic – sliced thin
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 6 slices of bacon
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 can of green beans – drained
- pinch of salt
Bring a pot of water to boil and season with sea salt. Throw the spaghetti in boiling water.
Bring a flat skillet to heat over medium flame and cook bacon strips to crisp.
Transfer the hot bacon grease to a skillet and add garlic, meanwhile chop the bacon. Add the beans to the garlic, add 1/2 of the chicken stock and eventually stir the spaghetti in once removed from the water. Stir. Add the rest of stock as needed.
After 5 minutes, add the chopped bacon, then the Parmesan.
Stir & serve, fireside just like Nick Adams.
